About Possum Merino

Possum Merino is a premium blend of possum fur and superfine micron Merino wool, offering a knit that is luxuriously soft, remarkably lightweight, and exceptionally warm, while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. It is naturally wrinkle-resistant, resistant to pilling, and anti-static.

Possum fibre is highly insulating due to its hollow core structure, which traps warmth efficiently without adding weight. Research indicates it is approximately 55% warmer than standard Merino wool and 35% warmer than cashmere.

Superfine micron Merino wool is valued for its softness, all-season breathability, and durable, easy-care qualities. Unlike coarser wool fibres, it is gentle against the skin. Combined with possum fur, it creates garments that deliver superior warmth, comfort, and long-lasting quality at excellent value.

Fabric Content & Care Instructions

Warm hand wash using a gentle detergent. Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Lay flat to dry in the shade. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry cleanable.
