RETURNS MADE EASY - PREPAID RETURN LABELS
Changed your mind? We make it easy. Within 14 days of your order date, email hello@reca.co.nz with your order number and we'll send you a prepaid courier return label. A flat $9.50 return fee is simply deducted from your refund, store credit or exchange - no guessing the cost.
Prefer to skip the fee? You're welcome to return your item for free at our Orakei Bay Village store, or arrange your own tracked postage instead.
If you made your purchase in store, we kindly ask that you return it to us in store.
Our friendly team is here to help with your return Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS
Shipping: We ship Australia-wide with tracked courier - 3-5 working days. Shipping is free on orders over AU$150; below that, a flat rate of around AU$14 applies (calculated at checkout).
Duties & taxes: Orders under AU$1,000 arrive with no additional duties or import fees to pay.
Returns: Change-of-mind returns are welcome within 14 days of your order date. Email hello@reca.co.nz with your order number, then send the item back using tracked postage of your choice (return postage is at your cost). Once received, we'll refund or exchange, provided items are unworn, in saleable condition, with the original label attached. If an item arrives faulty or damaged, we'll cover the return and replace or refund it in full - nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
RETURNS POLICY
We want you to shop with confidence, knowing we've got your back.
Online purchases can be returned within 14 days of the order date for an exchange or refund (less the $9.50 return label fee if you use our prepaid label), provided the following conditions are met:
- Items must be unworn, in saleable condition, with the original label still attached
- Proof of purchase must be provided
In-store purchases
- Change-of-mind purchases made in store are eligible for store credit or exchange
- The original label must still be attached and proof of purchase provided
ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE
- Earrings - not eligible for change-of-mind returns or refunds for hygiene reasons, whether purchased online or in store
- Items discounted at 70% off - final sale and not eligible for refund
- Gift cards - non-returnable
HOW DO I SEND BACK MY RETURN?
Email us at hello@reca.co.nz with your order number. We'll email you a prepaid courier return label with simple instructions - depending on the courier, you'll either drop your parcel at a nearby collection point or have it picked up from your door. The flat $9.50 label fee is deducted from your refund, credit or exchange. You can also return your item in store at no cost. If you're returning from Australia, please see the Australian Customers section above.
EXCHANGE POLICY
If you'd like to exchange an item, we offer two flexible options:
Option 1: Immediate Reorder & Refund
- Place a new order for the item you want in exchange
- Return the original item to us
- Once we receive the returned item, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method (less the $9.50 label fee if you used our prepaid label)
Option 2: Standard Exchange
- Email us to lodge your exchange request
- Send the item back to us using our prepaid label or your own tracked postage
- Once we receive the return, we'll ship out the replacement item
FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS
We're sorry to hear that your item isn't quite right! If an item arrives damaged or faulty, the return label is free and we'll replace or refund it in full. Please email us at hello@reca.co.nz with:
- Your order number
- A clear explanation of the fault
- Photos showing the issue
Once submitted, our team will assess the fault and either approve your return or exchange, or let you know if the item cannot be accepted. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
