Reca is built on care - for the people who make our pieces, the people who wear them, and the world we share.

Many of the social enterprises, small workshops and independent artisans we partner with are too small for formal fair-trade certification. Instead, we build lasting relationships, ask questions and remain transparent about where and how our pieces are made.

What we expect from every partnership

• Fair pay: Artisans receive a living wage or a fair price for their work.
• Safe, voluntary work: There is no forced labour or child labour, and everyone works in safe, respectful conditions.
• Dignity and opportunity: Our partnerships create meaningful work, skills and greater financial independence - particularly for women and communities who have faced barriers to secure employment.
• Transparency: Our partners are open about where and how products are made and welcome us into their workshops.
• Craftsmanship and care: We value skilled workmanship, thoughtful production and respect for the materials used.

For us, ethical fashion is not a label or a one-off checklist. It is an ongoing commitment to listen, learn and improve - and to ensure every Reca piece reflects the care and dignity behind it.
