Tayo Collective

“We are for freedom. We are for wholeness. True restoration comes when we know who we are and what we were created for on Earth.”

Tayo Collective

Location: Philippines

The Tayo Collective is a foundation in the Philippines that supports women who have been trafficked in the sex trade. They give them a safe place to live and give them scholarships and a whole lot of other support. There are an estimated 500,000 women exploited and trafficked in the Philippines, with roughly 100,000  under the age of 18.
Tayo Collective offers these women the opportunity to work and learn new skills while they study, which includes handcrafting jewellery. Tayo is proud to pay their artisans a living wage so that they can care for their families as they prepare for their future. They run a sustainable business for their artisans to earn a consistent and reliable income.
So Tayo jewellery is crafted and designed by powerful women with real life stories of redemption. Each piece of jewellery carries a message of hope. From darkness to light. From slavery to freedom. Wipe Every Tear and the Tayo Collective believe education is key to breaking these women out the cycle of poverty they're trapped in and empowering them to seek out the brightest future they can possibly have.
